Great you tube presentation on developing manager’s mind-set. It was short, consise and provided an excellent example of managers relying on hiring practices but not always being aware of what staff is saying to the customers.

It was a little difficult to hear

  3. I have received many of those checks and I promptly rip them up and throw in the trash. However, they come in envelopes marked “A check is inside for you!” One time one was stolen from my mail and someone cashed the check. I found out about it when I noticed the “membership fee” charged to my account the next month. The fee was promptly removed when I called, but it took my time and energy away from my work. If I was one of those people who don’t review statements, I may have incurred additional fees and charges without even knowing about it.

I just want to say that I also get these checks from other banks also. It looks good but as they say “if it looks to good then don’t use it” or just call the credit card companies and ask them about it. One thing I do have to diagree with you on is that is it “disclosed” on the back of the checks that you are enrolling into something so buyer be ware. One must be accountable to read all that comes with any offer.
There has to be consumer accountability.
I would encourage to just shred these checks as I do.
